The build of your opponent has a lot to do with it. For example, a stout guy with a big, thick torso, I will chose the waist and concentrate pressure to the lower back. But in cases of quick submission (most immediate pain), I typically go for the area high up on the torso just under the arm pits. The intensity can be prolong via compress and release.
