Go Joshua! I like them both so much. Handsome MEN. Hot BOXERS. I am not drawn to heavyweights that often, but in this case I am bowled over and hugely impressed with the sheer beauty of these men as well as with the awesome respect they demonstrate for each other. I was pulling for Joshua, but before the fight, I must admit I predicted a Klitschko win. The 11th round gave me a win for my man, though, and DAMN it was GOOD. The pre-fight press was so awesome, too. They came across as BOXING BUDS who were going to bare their bodies and souls and FIGHT EACH OTHER. The BOND created through BOXING came through here and I am very happy about that. BOXING is for MEN. BOXING is PURE MANHOOD IN ACTION. BOXING IS BONDING BETWEEN MEN.
Joshua's words in the ring after the fight sums it up for me and goes right along with what I always say about boxing and what I said above about these two handsome, hot, and bonded fighters: "...Boxing is about character. There is nowhere to hide. No complications about boxing. All men should do this (anyone can do this). Give it a go. You leave your ego at the door. Massive respect to Klitschko. He's a role model in and out of the ring and I've got nothing but love and respect for anyone who steps in the ring..."
YES! This is a great day for the best sport in the world. The Manly Art. The Sweet Science. I am proud to be a boxer. Very proud!
The new heavyweight champion stands in a familiar pose. That's not to say that Joshua is even in the same league as Muhammed Ali but I found these comparisons interesting.....
I see what you mean, bud. Interesting. Surely that is coincidental? You think Joshua thinks he's the next Ali? Hmmmm....??? He seems to be very much his own man. It will be exciting to see how he progresses now. I have rarely gotten excited about heavyweights. In fact, maybe the last time I was really into heavyweight WAS when Ali was reigning. But now I feel drawn to this new champion. Of course it doesn't hurt that he is a FIGHT GOD.
Different fighter. Different personality. I would say they are both very confident, in their own way. But Joshua has kicked U.K. Boxing into another gear. And U.K. boxing is doing very well.
Yes, Joshua is one of the hottest boxers I've ever seen.
Nonetheless, i was very disappointed when I saw Klitschko losing. As a German I was totally on his side, as both brethren have strong relations to my country. There was so much hope raised and winged that he could really win, but in the 11th round all hope was evaporated. ðŸ˜
Well, my man...I am sorry your man did not win. But again I say...and this is a summing up of what my boxing ethic states...any man who steps into the ring is a winner. Your man Klitschko has certainly shown that he is a winner. What a life of boxing he has had. I am always impressed with him...always have been. He gives me incredible encouragement in my life as a boxer. He is 41 years old. He has boxing in his blood...it is his life. I feel the same way (not that I mean to compare my boxing to his boxing). But I get the passion from him...the passion to box. I am turning 64 years old next Sunday and I am boxing up a storm these days. I am coaching guys more than ever. And I am scheduled to fight in the Australian Masters Boxing Tournament in October. I am a BOXER...A MAN WHO FIGHTS.
Congrats on the boxing passion , the upcoming birthday and the mention of this good fight. A shame though those Australian Masters games do include three other martial arts like judo but not wrestling as they might in Europe.
