How does this work? Who decides the winner? What style of wrestling?

Hi. For 2nd tournament are you going to usé the bracket system ? This system is fair and accurate only if everybody fights everybody in each bracket, which is quasi impossible to get in a cyber tournament. Don't you think a cup système, from start to end would be better ? I know anyway the problem. Starting number of competitors must be an exponential of number 2 (4 or 8 or 16 or 32 or 64 etc). I understand it s not easy to fulfill this condition

I’m all for another tourney, but we need have a higher level of commitment and ability to complete our matches quickly to keep interest going. I also heard a lot of complaints about over the top Superman syndrome. That’s no fun for anyone! Oh yeah, Moostsfa would be a great addition! Grrrrrr

After a balanced starting Chipsand took the upper hand more and more until he made me submit with a beautiful Boston Crab

Zeus beat coachchill23 in one fall match. After working the big man with power moves, got him good with crushing power slam to the count of three. Winner took the spoils leaving the loser spread naked and humiliated to the crowd.

AtlProFantasy submitted RingWrestlerNYC with a Boston Crab to grab a spot in the semifinals.

Congrats man! but you will pay for that to my tag partner! GRRRRR!

Update for QuarterFinals-
Marios1991 has the most points and is the Bracket D Winner and will face the winner of the Bracket C Quarterfinal Match in the SemiFinals. Let's aim for Quarterfinal Matches to be done by Wednesday, 4/15.

Hey Chips - I wanna challenge Zeus for Round 3 of the tournament since I have had no actual matches yet. Zeus and I have talked about it as well. I think it should be okay even if we are not in the same bracket right?

You can challenge Zeus to a match whenever you want. Whoever wins gets a point and then if you both win your Round 3 matches you'd face each other in the Semi-Finals round of the tournament.

I'm trying not to swap tournament matches out since we've had some trouble getting people to have their matches. Does that make sense?

The point system really only comes into effect if you were to lose a match and trying to get back in the last slot of the semi-finals from bracket D.

I just haven’t even had a match yet because of forfeits. So it’s getting kind of stale for me haha. Plus my supposed opponent for next round is still not even confirmed yet either because of no match again.

Totally get it. I agree. If I haven't heard anything by the end of the week from a lot of them, we'll just move on to the semi-finals this weekend and then your match can happen in two days.

I came up as winner vs Marios 3-1 in a best of three match. Here is how I got the boy: First fall got him with a sling shot suplex / second fall got him with lung blower / third fall got by Marios with a piledriver / and fourth fall got him with a fireman carry burning hammer.

BRACKET D is an open bracket and will be a chance to get back into the tournament. If you lose, you may challenge any other wrestler who lost. The wrestler who gains the most total wins before the semi-finals date will re-enter as the 4th in the final 4 wrestlers at the semi-final date (TBA). Any wins a wrestler gets in the tournament counts toward their total.

just got this question...here's an answer. If your first round opponent doesn't RESPOND by Wednesday 3/25 @ noon (USA-EST), you will get a BYE to the next round. You MAY challenge a wrestler who lost to fill the spot, however, if you lose, your slot becomes a BYE.

I think this has been tried before, but because people might be traveling less currently, I thought we could give it a shot again.

How about a Cyber Match Tournament? Post here that you're interested and Saturday 3/21, I'll post a bracket (randomly sorted). And then everyone will have until the following Wednesday to complete their match. And then I'll update the bracket with winners and send it back out.
